A true Francophile, I understand the French language way more than I can speak it.  To further my desire to be more fluent, I am currently brushing up on my high school level of knowledge by using Rosetta Stone.  I enjoy using it and highly recommend it to others.

I travel once a year to France/Paris and have done so for a while.  There are always “musts” for me to do or see, but I always add something new or challenging to keep the trip fresh.  By adding new people each time to this adventure it also helps to keep the trip exciting.  I love seeing the look on people’s faces when they see the Eiffel Tower the first time or when they light a candle at Notre Dame.  It never gets old!

My goal some day is to go on this trip and be able to converse with the French without using any English.  This is going to take many more trips over the course of the rest of my life!

In future posts I will blog about my favorite places and things so you too can share in the magic of Paris!

    • Hi Beth,
Thrilled that you wrote in! Love the Ladies on the Loose concept for sure. The Gal Pals might just have to take a barge cruise on our next jaunt!
Keep reading and chiming in with your comments.

  5. Hi Priscilla,
I saw that you’re following me on twitter, which is what prompted this (most interesting) visit to your blog. It’s great — and I’m just sorry that you don’t live here year round!

Next time you’re in Paris, please drop me a line if you’d like to go on a Treasure Hunt at the Louvre. That’s what my company, THATLou, does.
    Kind regards,
    Daisy
