Alcazar – trendy hip restaurant in the 6th, famous for showing classic movies on a huge screen in the dining room.  Excellent food and atmosphere great after 9pm.  Reservations a must.  Had one poor experience with the wait staff one year when we ate early.  All the other times we had an exceptional experience.  Thanks to Cherry for this recommendation many years ago.
