Café Marly is just outside the Louvre Museum adjacent to the pyramid.  It is very convenient for lunch when you are visiting the Louvre and serves fantastic coffee and hot chocolate.  In the warm months the porch dining area is a beautiful place to dine overlooking the gardens and in the winter it can be a very cozy place to meet for a special occasion.  Thanks to Marie-Charlotte for this recommendation – I can’t wait to meet you there on my upcoming trip!
