We checked into the Hotel Lutetia in the heart of the 6th arrondissement Monday after a long day of travel from the US and sightseeing at both the Louvre and Eiffel Tower. Excited and exhausted is how we showed up at the front desk only to be rejuvenated by the warm welcome by the bellman and the smiling face at the front desk.
It’s a treat in Paris to have a walk-in closet, double sinks in the bathroom vanity, separate shower and tub and a living room complete with a generous sitting area, minibar and desk area. I particularly love that we have two balconies facing the street with lovely views of the park across the street and a peek at the Eiffel Tower. Higher floors of the hotel have excellent views of the tower which is lit up at night and twinkles with lights at midnight.
Suites at the Hotel Lutetia are spacious with a separate living room that can be closed off from the bedroom by closing the beautiful wooden sliding pocket doors enabling those who want to rest, work or watch television without disturbing those who need the occasional nap. The living room is large enough to entertain guests or business associates and has the added feature of having a half bath for guests to use apart from the main bathroom area. Whether at work or play, the suites are the perfect place to relax and unwind after long days of sightseeing, making this spot a gem for The Weekend In Paris which is all about combining work and play!
The Weekend In Paris was compensated in part for this post, but not compromised. The opinions are my own.
